Another type available is cellulose insulation. This type is eco-friendly and is safe if the insulation comes into contact with your skin. This type is made of recyclable newspapers. The paper is first shredded, and then it is treated with a fire-resistant material. The chemicals used when making cellulose insulation are borate and ammonium sulfate, which prevents pests and mold.
